Licensing Agreement 

I believe photographs should be shared. For clients, this means that you’re free to use these photographic assets for what you need them for, short of selling them for profit or publishing them for mass distribution. This means that you are free to blog with my photos, use them in local or small trade magazines and newspapers, download them as screen savers and for non-commercial purposes. Please take a moment to review the usage rights details outlined below. 

What can I do with my photographs? 

You can use my images in the following ways:

• Display your prints in your home or office 
• Download/Save the complimentary low resolution digitals for use on your personal social media outlets
• Download/Save the high resolution print quality digitals 
• Make prints for friends, family, and sponsors for display in their home or office (high res files only) 
• Use my photographs for personal screen savers 
• Blog about my photographs and include them in your post 
• Use my digitals (high res) for print media including local magazines and newspapers with less than 20K copies in circulation (photo credit & written permission from BJD required) 
• As part of athlete autograph pads &/or personal sponsorship collateral 
• Did I miss something? Send me an email for additional requests
  

CONDITIONS OF USE:
I want you to use and share my photographs, but please make sure you:

• Reference Billie-Jean Duff as the photographer 
• Provide a link back to Billie-Jean's website when possible (www.billiejeanduff.ca) 
• Tell BJD that photographs are being used by sending me an email or a direct message (That way I can tell everyone to go check out your site or magazine!)
  

I ask that you do not: 

• Share the photographs with a 3rd party company/vendor (If a 3rd party is interested in using them for their site or other marketing collateral, they MUST contact me to purchase separate usage rights).  What does this mean? Plain and simple, if the photographs are to appear on another company's website to promote their business, they must pay for usage rights. 

• Make products for sale, except for those items listed above (Local Magazines/Newspapers) 
• Use my photographs for display wraps on vehicles or livestock trailers (additional licensing applies) 
• Display my photographs in a gallery, or print them for public display without prior approval. 
• Use my photographs for advertising purposes, i.e. a product manufacturer's website. (Manufactures
  will need to purchase usage rights separately) 
• Use my photographs on any magazine cover or inside a nationally distributed publication. 

Should you have an image that is considered for a cover and/or inside a national publication, the fee will be negotiated at fair market value with the publication directly.
